In the summer of 2024, Jonas ran 2,020 kilometers across Sweden. From Treriksröset in the Arctic to Smygehuk, the country's southernmost point.
The original goal was to complete the journey in 22 days and set a new fastest known time for the route.
After setbacks including a twisted ankle and a motorhome breakdown, the journey was ultimately completed in 29 days, 21 hours and 50 minutes.
Beyond the physical challenge, the project was about raising awareness of mental health and encouraging conversations around wellbeing.
During the pandemic, when the world came to a standstill and making music became difficult, I unexpectedly found a refuge in ultrarunning.
Pushing myself physically while learning to take better care of both my body and mind turned out to be the key to returning to music with renewed joy and energy.
It challenged the old myth that great art must come from suffering, reminding me that growth can also come from embracing challenges and allowing yourself to be uncomfortable.
This journey wasn't just a physical challenge. It was also an opportunity to raise funds for Mind Sweden's "Spring För Livet" campaign and support their work for better mental health. I believe that open conversations about mental health are essential, and this journey across Sweden was my way of contributing by raising awareness and helping make support and knowledge more accessible. The fundraiser is still open.

Throughout the journey, Jonas was accompanied by family and friends in two support vehicles. One served as a mobile home where he could eat and sleep each nigh, apart from a few memorable days when the motorhome broke down and had to be repaired.
